Footsteps in the hall alert those inside the lower caverns of another person. Clacking talons would let them know of a small drgon, as well.. aha, a new weyrling!

M'telle rounds the corner and trots into the large room. His stomach turns over and begins to snarl at him. He'd forgotten how hungry he was! A positive grin marks his face and his eyes flick around to those gathered.. hardly any, besides the drudges and headwoman. And another weyrling.. attractive chap, too..

The young man wends his way through the feast-preparers and toward the other. He remembers his face from the sands. Without an ounce of shame, M'telle seats himself and crosses his legs. A smile is flashed at L'geri, watery blue eyes twinkling from behind long, blonde bangs. He winks, once. 'Hello, there! I saw you up at the hatching. Your blue is absolutely gorgeous. You're pretty cute yourself! What's his name? And yours, of course,' he adds on with a sparkling peal of laughter. One hand droops limply forward, its arm perpendicular to the table. The man extends the other one, however, for a shake. 'I'm M'telle and this is Harilath.'

The tiny blue would crouch beside the larger one, lifting his paw and creels, tail swinging from side to side and wings quivering. 'ello!

A drudge passes by and M'telle grabs her arm to halt her, grinning brightly. 'Yes, hello, what he's having, please.' She rolls her eyes at him and stalks off to get his food.
