(Actually, he’s only nine in his joining post. I’m thinking of making his tenth birthday soon, but also… that kinda fits, because I was hoping to get the other owneresses to agree on an under-aged Impression for ‘im. =P What do you think? Should I stir up the Weyr a bit? Of course, this is all up to El’s Shrineth as well…))

Trag listened attentively on the whole talk about Ulyssanth, grinning broadly. Trag thought very highly of the brown, and had taken a liking almost like a rider’s own to the dragon. Of course, he could never love Uly as much as D’minic did, but he could come close, right?

Trag giggled. “Is there ever a time Homer’s not with him?” he asked, laughing. “They’d better not fly off! They’ll get in big trouble!”

Trag always held a certain awe in his eyes when it came to dragonriders. It was all he’d ever wanted to be, and being a HaD in a Weyr was a constant reminder of this dream. He loved dragons, and the thought of Impression made him jumpy. He gave a little sigh.

“What could be better? Of course I wanna Impress! But, I’m not old enough yet, am I? I’m only just turning ten! Tommorrow’s my birthday.”

While Trag was definetly as tall, if not taller, than most fourteen-turn-old candidates, he was still about four turns too young. The dream of Impression that had given him the desire to be in the Weyr haunted him every second, but what could he do?

Trag grinned. “Maybe I should just go anyway. If no one knows me, they’ll think I’m old enough!” Of course, the fact that he looked just like two twenty-five-turn-old riders wouldn’t help; he was definetly Tsuga and Tr’ln’s son. Plus, the dragons would know the difference.
