I know it is normal for boys to play with themselves, especially during their teen years when their hormones are out of control. To answer your questions, chris is now 17, almost 18 and yes, I make sure his PJs are very light weight and I remove the fly buttons so his boy parts get good air circulation. I totally agree with you that boys should not wear underwear under their PJs to further promote air circulation and reduce crotch itch or other "boy" hygiene problems. Of course we all know that boys can be very careless about keeping themselves clean down there, so they must be supervised and checked. I am happy that chris takes his showers without complaining, like he did when he was little, but I do not want him to think he can play with himself ever time he is alone. I like the idea of keeping the door open during his shower time but I am concerned that the water will make a big mess if the shower curtain is also open. Any suggestions there would be appreciated. Chris is still spanked for unacceptable school work and for disrespecting his sisters or their friends and for mouthing off. I can't believe that he is still an irresponsible boy at his age, even his younger sister acts and is more mature, So much so that I put her in charge of him when his older stepsister is not available to babysit.
