I don't like martinet because I rather prefer the direct contact between mother and daughter. The over the knee position is preferable even though you are not a child, and the hand spanking causes sting enough and will mantain heat in your bottom some time for you to think in these mistakes. Maybe a few slaps with the hairbrush are adecuate for a grown girl to complete your punishment, and some corner time to complete the embarrasement you deserves. How often? Sometimes they receive two or tree in a month and sometimes two months go by without receiving any. Of course it depends on their behavior.
