Subject: Now Why Did NG Change The Swing?
In reply to: Chazman 's message, "Curtis Strange validates the old NG and BGG swings." on 18:38:57 02/23/02 Sat

Chaz been following your postings on BGG and NG for a while now and I guess the question that I keep coming back to is WHY? Why did NG change the swing so fundamentally. I learned NG from their LOBG package never took a lesson - I found I did not need it. The package was in my opinion that good. I can only guess that the marketing people at NG have seized the ship as well as the crew. Personally and it is only speculation on my part the deliberate blurring of CG and NG SA golf was done deliberately to increase the acceptability of CG players to some sort of SA swing. The only problem I have with that concept is that when you hybridize - heaven help you as to what you may get! Another Frankenstein?
