I'ld like to take a moment to clarify what my student "looked like" and what he really did were two different things. To understand where he was hitting it you'ld first have to know where his target was. There wasn't anything wrong with what he did...in fact when he hit shots on that particular shoot, he was hitting it down the fairway, which was headed a bit left and then doglegged hard left - impossible to tell from this camera angle. Later, when I hit shots I was aware of the camera angle and what people would be looking at so I hit shots well down the right side of the fairway and in several cases, intentionally into the rough. I knew there was no way for anyone to tell this and I wanted to accurately represent straight shots relative to this particular camera angle.

Secondly, it is my humble assessment, I would not want to add any extra moving parts to a simple swing model, even a little bit. It kind of defeats the purpose.
