Subject: Great analogy - Xmas presents

I enjoyed your posting.

The "what we need" and "what we think we need" very much fits into kids in the cities wanting Xmas presents. I believe this is even stronger in Australia and America. A kid goes to Father Xmas figure and asks for all kinds of things, bicycle, toys, etc. Maybe some of those things they really need and would make their life easier or more happy. Other stuff is just off the tops of their heads and has nothing to do with their real needs. So then they get the toy they don't really need and quickly it is lost, forgotten or broken. It was never needed to begin.
