Ok. These are both very good responses to my first posting. So now the question is, "What should be done?" One says the villages must be modernized so thje people can kill that pig or whatever and store it in the refridgerator so they can store it longer and therefore have more idle time away from hunting and gathering so they can work a commercial job. That makes a lot of sense to me. If I had to spent all day looking for food in the wooods I would be too busy to have a job too.

The other comment is, if I read correctly, confirms what I stated. Maybe the people don't want this. They perfer to remain hunter and gatherers and even if you gave them the refrigerator and free electric they still would not use it.

So now what? The purpose here is to find some workable solution to break the current conditions. We need something to recommend to the new leaders who will be elected in 2001. I think there has been some great rational thinkng here lately. We have heard pros and cons of what could or could not be done.
Is there a compromise between the two responses above or is there yet other options to be discussed and then some sort of plan that could be proposed, discussed and then handed to the leaders of the country?
