Hi,
I do know that Malaysia DID reject the IMF strong recommendations that all the other Asian countries swallowed without question. I believe the IMF recommendations came straight from the developed countreis.
As noted, it did not hurt Malaysia at all to do
its own thing with regard to IMF.
