And I'd say St. Bonaventure's is a little bit tougher of a sell. When was the last time they had a capable big man up there? Peter Van Paasen, whom Baron recruited from Holland, and was a stiff when he came over here. Baron and his staff made him a player. I wouldn't call it an easy sell, especially for big men, who are at such a premium. Bonaventure's is one of the toughest places to recruit to in the Atlantic 10. Don't believe me? Consider that Baron put his name in for the Fordham job when Bob Hill was hired.

And if you don't think St. Bonaventure's is a tough place to recruit to, tell me who recruited former Bona star JR Bremer, now with the Boston Celtics. St. Bonaventure's, and non-scholarship BUCKNELL. That's it. Baron won with marginally talented teams, for the most part, and by stealing an occasional talent like Tim Winn. Van Breda Kolff is doing the same. St. Bonaventure's is a very tough job, even with the fan support.
