One of the things I feared most growing up was what momma referred to as “come to Jesus” meetings. Such a meeting always involved a stern lecture and a spanking on the bare bottom. In these cases, there was no need to tell me I would be spanked-once a meeting was announced, I knew it was happening!

Anyone else familiar with the come to Jesus meeting?
