When I was in for a spanking mom would sit in the closest available spot to give me a lecture. Once she was done with that she would announce I was getting a spanking and to pull down my pants and get over her knee. If she used the hairbrush or the belt, she would get up and go get it after the spanking was announced, but before I pulled down my pants. That changed when I got older, she would tell me to go ahead and get my pants down and she would let me stew bare for a few minutes while she went to go get a suitable object.

With dad, he would lead me to my room, willingly or unwillingly, and then tug at my pants and say “get these down and bend over!”

Grandma would lead me into the kitchen and grab a knife from the drawer before handing it to me and telling to go out back and find a switch so she could give me a “butt whoopin.”
