when I was younger it was just me, my little brother, and my sister who was the youngest, and our mom. our house had a pool in the backyard, we used it all the time but my mom never gave me or my sister a swimsuit, she just had us swimming naked, my brother had a swimsuit which me and my sister always thought was unfair but my mom insisted it was perfectly fair because boy’s privates are much more external and need covering up while girls don’t have anything they need to cover at all. My mom didn’t let us get dressed again until we were completely done swimming for the day so a lot of days in the summer we’d just hang out in the backyard like this and occasionally go for a swim until bedtime.

This was in france in the 80s, I got to see my brother’s parts sometimes when he would pee in the grass and he didn’t want to bother going inside to pee. Me and my sister would also do this by just squatting down over the grass and going. My brother eventually got used to seeing us naked, he still stared a lot but eventually it wasn’t really anything new to him. I think this is a good thing that should be more widespread because it demystifies girls’ bodies to young boys. Ideally me and my sister would have liked for him to be naked too with us but my mom wouldn’t let that happen. She said that boy’s parts are more external and them being uncovered is more inappropriate, as well as the fact that they get erections which are inappropriate to have uncovered in public.

I agree with you that there is no reason that her brother couldn't go naked as well.
The human body is a thing of beauty, and in my opinion especially a boy's body because he has a penis which is also a thing of beauty.
Don't get me wrong, girls bodies are beautiful as well, but I just like boys bodies a bit better is all.

For me it was the opposite way around. From being little until I was 14 and my neighbor was 12, we would play in his inflatable pool naked while his sister (my age) would usual wear a swimsuit, especially as we got older. It wasn't deemed inappropriate for us to be naked I think because we were still prepubescent and although we did sometimes get erections, they were very small, and not really offensive. (From a distance in some photos, it could be hard to tell if we were boys or girls). His sister however was generally expected to be more modest.

Wow the same double standard, a completely reverse. My mom believed boys have nothing to hide while girls tend to protect their modesty.
I shared baths with my female cousin numerous of time as a child, I don't remember how it was all set up when we were very little though but as far as I could remember she kept her underwear on to share a bath with me while I was naked as a jaybird. So as the other male 3d cousin who hang over with us from time to time and joined us in a tub ocassionaly.
Another remarkable example and a vivid memory was an occasion when I had to stay at my aunt's for a while when I was around 9, it was a family of that 3d cousin I've mentioned and a rural area. Every night before a bedtime we boys had to have a quick garden hose shower at the backyard and his sister, a couple of years older than me, gave us both and a neighbour boy an all over wash with facecloth. Needless to say we boys were nothing on, on a perfect view of everyone around.

How much older were you than your brother and to what age were you naked? Did this ever apply in any other situations like at the beach or in the house? Did being completely naked in front of your little brother make you feel or act more like a little kid? I think for me it did make me feel and behave a lot younger, especially with younger kids present, especially if they were still dressed.
Did you blush and go red from embarrassment and what were you the most self conscious of or made you feel the most naked? For me it was having a bare bottom and feeling the breeze on it or a girl slapping it. For the record many of my experiences were on holiday in western France.

I was about 3 years older than my brother. And I had to swim naked until I was about 14, that’s when my mom gave me a swimsuit top to cover my boobs but still nothing for the rest of my body. I had to swim naked at beaches too while my brother was able to wear a suit, and during the hotter months mom would make me or my sister go naked around the house as well, which my brother also never had to do. My mom would berate me and my sister if she saw us covering ourselves with our hands because it’s unsanitary and we had nothing worth hiding. It definitely made me feel and act like a little kid being naked around other clothed people, especially around my brother or other kids who were younger than me.

For example when suncream was put on it me it was applied everywhere in public without any concern for possible embarrassment, but I feeling small would just co-operate. Also when talking especially to adults I would nervously fiddle with my bare willy the way small boys often do for comfort or when thinking even at 14/15. I would become self conscious of what I was doing but no-one objected they just thought I was cute!
Girls would wiggle my willy sometimes, and when they were much younger clothed girls, it would make me go bright red, but as with you, no-one took issue with it.

Do you remember if you got an erection when they would wiggle your willy?

Regarding when I fiddled with it, no because I was usually fiddling mainly with the extra foreskin at the end. Yeah, my mom gave me a top because my partially developed body being completely uncovered was causing problems in public, so my mom finally allowed me a top while insisting I stay bottomless. I definitely picked at my labia a bit absentmindedly while talking to adults, they just thought it was cute so nobody had any problems with it, nobody had any problems with the bottomless girl walking around in general. It made me act younger and be more agreeable with older clothed boys and adults. No, it was pretty much always put on my private area (in my case not very private!) by my mom or other females. My mom and friend's mom would simply wipe it on like any other part of my body while applying it to my belly, bottom, legs and feet.
My older sister and her friend would usually leave that part to my mom or make a joke while doing it, I think because they were less comfortable.
But I was honestly never asked to do it myself probably because I was viewed as too immature, and I just accepted it I guess because it was what I was used to.

Boys swimming naked was very common when I grew up in the 60s. I spent a good part of several Summers swimming at my friend Jeff's house and we would be naked, but his younger sister and mom wore swimsuits. We enjoyed it and had fun - it was so normal at the time. There was also a series of Dear Abby posts where she defended the practice of boys swimming nude.

Growing up, my best friend's family owned the farm across from ours. There was a creek that ran through the back of their property, with pasture on the side nearer their house, and woods on the other. I too used to skinny-dip with my same age friends in a pond on some farmer's field.....though we didn't know at the time anything about trespassing.
There would be four or five of us city kids riding our bikes out to the county on what we called a 'camping trip' almost every Saturday in the summer, though we only stayed for a couple of hours and no tents were brought along to do any actual camping.
We did bring hotdogs and buns to make it seem more like 'roughing it'.
Of course, once the city built a public swimming pool close to where we lived those 'camping trips' became few and far between eventually becoming non existent.
Did you only skinny-dip with those younger boys because they were skinny-dipping, and you felt they would feel more comfortable if you too were skinny-dipping instead of wearing shorts?
