Very well put! Deep down, I also do feel a strangely comforted feeling when I'm over his knee... it isn't comfortable for my bottom of course, but deeper down in my heart, there is something truly wonderful about knowing you have a man who is not going to let you or your family stray down the wrong path, and who is going to hold you accountable for your actions.

And oh yes, that dreaded switch over to the implement... I try my hardest not to beg when Ruben ceases his spanking with the hand, maybe even partly to set an example for my girls (Ella begs and kicks up a storm herself!) but the begging still sometimes slips out anyway for me. That buuurn is just so much worse with the paddle.

But thankfully, Ruben doesn't punish worse for begging, only for outright resistance like reaching back with our hands or fighting the baring before we go over his knee. He always jokes that we can "show off our kung fu kicks" all we want and buck our hips, but the spanking isn't over til he says it is over!
