Emily, your message is truly beautiful. What a wonderful description of one's changing emotions during the course of a spanking, ultimately leading to thankfulness for having a strict husband.

When I need to go over my husband's lap to be punished, I too start out by resolving not to give him the satisfaction of knowing that it hurts. And at first it doesn't hurt, at least not that much, his hand almost comforting, actually erotic, at least at first. How foolish of me! Of course it's going to hurt, and he's not going to stop until he knows that his message has gotten through.

As the spanking goes on and on and on, seemingly to never end, the tears start mixed with my promises to be good and proclamations that I can't take any more. Then he pauses ... I hope against hope that he's done but he's merely paused so he can pick up the hairbrush. That removes all doubt that I will be sobbing before long and truly learn my lesson. And later, I will be so thankful for his love.
