Have you been able to keep this discipline private?
I've accepted that our parents could become aware if I resume discipline with my brother, and I imagine they'd support it, but some of my judgemental friends would not understand adult domestic discipline.

Does your BIL put you in position like your photo and start strapping straight away?

As teens we usually got a hand first, then dad used the belt. We had to kneel toward the edge and bend keeping our butt out near the edge, where our dad would stand and spank it with a belt. More like this photo, but way harder (NSFW):
