In reply to: Penny 's message, "Welcome!" on 06:39:11 07/28/03 Mon

The old lady narrowed her odd eyes and beckoned Arion into her small, but cozy looking house. Arion nodded nervously and stepped inside, praying, Dear God Almighty! Help me…I don’t know what to do! As she walked on the light brown tiles, she was comforted as clearly as if she was looking at reassuring, bold letters. She nodded, and the lady looked back. “To whom art thou nodding?” Jeniva asked. Tell her the truth! A deep, booming yet kind voice echoed through her head. “Th-the Lord, miss Karr!” She stuttered back. Jeniva’s face immediately softened. “I see! Art thou a Christian, Miss Rogers?” Arion blinked in surprise. “Y-Yes, Miss Karr! I worship the One Almighty!” Jeniva laughed, a tinkling sound for one her age. “Ah’m glad thou toldest me that, young lady. I would have thought otherwise of newcomers here! Please, Miss Rogers, call me Jeniva.” Arion smiled. “Then call me Arion, Miss K…Jeniva!” The old lady laughed again, a very pleasant sound. “I shall, dearie, I shall.”

Sorry, I know it's not much!
