Seerus didn't reply, though his hands were trembling. "seerus, I'm here to try to help you," said Vexar more gently. "You're very skilled amd i don't want to take away your magic, so how about this. You agree not to blast open my door and sit down, and I'll take off the heat charm. Agreed?"
Seerus glanced at the door, then Vexar, and he nodded once, lowering his hands. Vexar smiled. "Excellent." As Seerus slowly backed into a seat, Vexra raised his hand and murmered the counter spell. "Had Seerus, extend your hand," said Vexar.
Seerus did so, extending his burned hand palm upwrads and he immediatly felt a cool breath of icy air sweep over the blackened flesh, and the burn was gone. Seerus lifted his eyes to Vexar, who was staring at him, and he flashed his instructer a rare smile, his bitter eyes shinning.
"That's better," replied Vexar, returning the smile. "Now Seerus, listen to me. Your skill with magic is incredibly strong, so you must be careful. Unfortunatly, you have a very impulsive personality. Your firey and you explode at things that others would ignore or brush off. And when this happens, your magic becomes fueled by your rage and when you use it, its very dangerous to not only anyone near you, but to you yourself."
Seerus nodded in understanding. "I was informed there was a conflict between you and young Jeris William. Care to tell me about it?"
Seerus shrugged. "No, not really." Vexar thumbed through a few papers and raised an eyebrow. "From what the people present tell me, it escalated into a fight and you used a simple spell to make a snowflake, to cover the entire third floor corridor under three feet of snow and ice." Seerus shrugged again. "And not only that, you froze Mr. William into a block of ice and the staff had to spend three hours carefully defrosting him!" Seerus' eyes glittered. "Why Seerus? Why did you do that?"
"I don't know."
"so, just because you felt like it, you transformed our entire corridor into an artic wasteland?" Seerus didn't reply. Vexar sighed. "Why were you and Jerlis fighting?"
"It was nothing," said Seerus, the familiar bitterness tinging his voice once more. "You'll have to do better than that Seerus," said Vexar.
Seerus' impatience and anger suddenly returned. "I don't know why we were fighting or what started it okay? Now I think I have been lectured enough, the message has sunk in. Goodbye!" He stood and strode to the door. Glancing at Vexar quickly, he hesitantly touched the knob with a finger. The metal was cool. Seerus quickly opened the door and strode angrily out, leaving Vexar to sigh and shake his head in frustration and sadness.
