Read at your own risk

After light has been extinguished
And you lie within your bed
Thinking that you're awful safe,
No need to hide your head.
I am hiding it the shadows,
Soon to end your life
And your bed is no protection
From my anger or my knife.
You fools doubt my intentions
But my darkness i will show.
In the moments of pain before you die
My evil you will know.
You still have got a chance to save
Your insignificant life
You can avoid the pain that comes
From my dark wrath and my knife.
But if you reoffend me, fool,
All chances will be gone.
I will strike fast from the shadows
As if on the wind borne.
As the clouds hide the moon behind
That shadow may be a tree
But while the fear exists, you fool,
That shadow may be me.
So know this, all you sameful fools
As you cower in your bed in fright,
Your house is no protection, fool,
You are not safe tonight.
