Subject: I don't post here often because I'm too busy with my massive load of advanced classes in school(Which I now wonder why I signed up for them lol) Some of the keys to great writing in my opinion is that your characters have to be belivable, 3-D, and have their own history (not this shouldn't be a biography thats is a book in it self, but just a little backround spread out through the book that shows why the character is as they are and where they are. Number 2 a good grey character is exccelent in any type of story. 3. Characters are the basis of your story don't neglect them. 4. Show don't tell use metaphors and similes/ the five senses to describe things in your story but don't go over board with them unless you are writting a poem. 5. Which is the most important...be creative with your plot. 6. good luck writing

**smiles** I am flattered for the special attention you gave me here! Wraith is correct in most of my points, be descriptive, but don't go wild with that, try to send your readers on a journey where they are lost in your book(s), and try to think up something for a title that would catch YOUR eye if you were looking through the library. Remember, the key word for a book is: Interesting! (NT)Whiteye01:56:15 10/18/03 Sat
