Chapter Six “Salamandastron”
“Red Staff would you take these three to Salamandastron?” Abbess Checkery asked, “I know you will miss the feast an all, but we need someone to take them, and no one else wants to, please?” Red Staff sighed, and said “Sure, but you have to hold another feast when I come back, Okay!” “Alright, it’s a deal” the Abbess told him.
“Do we have to go?” Melina asked, she was dressed in a purple traveling tunic “can we please stay?” she asked trying to keep back tears. “No, after what you did, good luck” the Abbess said. “Yes ma’am” Melina said miserably. Red Staff walked up, and handed each dibbun two haversack. “They first one is full of food, and the second is full of your things like clothes, toys, jewelry, Etc.” Red Staff told them “Its your job to carry your own packs, and make your own food, you may eat when ever you fell like it but, use your food wisely, if you eat it all before we reach Salamandastron, you will have to go hungry”. Then Red Staff handed then each an ash staff and marched them out the door and to Salamandastron. “There they go” Abbesÿ
