Southpaw leans over Dartpaws shoulder to see the paper but before she gets a chance a puffing noise is heard. Dartpaw quickly put away the scroll as Lancepaw came in sight. The two beasts let out a sigh of releif and Southpaw let go of her dirk hilt which her paw had strayed to. Plopping down beside them Lancepaw took a minute to get her breath back then pulled a pie from under her cloak and began devouring it. Two slices dissappeared from the pie and Lancepaw looked up to see both Southpaw and Dartpaw munching away and grinning like naughty dibbuns

"Rotten cads stealing my bally pie. Oh well. The flippin` fort`s in a right state of confusion thanks to those scoundrelly dibbuns. Got it into their heads that it would be a good idea to help Friar Hinkle cook lunch. Barricaded themselves in they did wot? Not a single grown up can get into the kitchens anfd Friar Hinkle keeps asking to knock the bally door down doncha` know"

The other haremaid and the squirrel laughed at the look on their leader`s face as she thought about what the little fort babes were up to "Those cousins of your`s Southy, They are real cads. Them, Cori, Tangle, Rinn and Tamtam started the whole flippin` idea of being liddle cooks. Huh. I wouldn`t be surprised if we don`t have any vittles for lunch"

Southpaw`s face was a picture of dismay "Wot!! No tucker!! The fiends! Wait till I get my paws on them!!!"
