Here is a poem! *pelted by people shouting things such as "Thank you Captain Obvious!"* For those of you who have never seen my rhyme scheme (I haven't been around in a while), the first line rhymes with the second, the third line rhymes with the sixth and the fourth with the fifth.

*smiles*

The sun no longer light
In fact, it was night
Small dibbuns crept out of their dorm
Away from their beds
Scrubbed clean paws to head
While the thunder outside crashed and stormed
Snouts clean and scrubbed red
A small molemaid said,
"Hurr, lukkit, we'm cleen an' we'm broight,
Et's 'ee feaster t'morrer,
Yet oi bes full o' sorrer,
Oi wants to be durty tonoight!"
The dibbuns all cheered
'Tis cleanliness they feared
Stepping forth was a hog full of spikes,
"Let'sa go to da kitchen
An' we'll start da misshun!"
Their stomach's growling, voracious as pikes.
The Friar never knew
What his kitchen went through
On that fateful night before the feast
Asleep by the fire
It was hard to be Friar!
He knew naught of the havoc-wrecking beasts!
Otters went flying
By plump molemaids sighing
While lying back in a vat full of honey
An owl lost his footing
And fell in a pudding
"Take that, y' fiend! I'm not a flippin' ole bunny!"
Squirrels were stealing
Herbs hanging from the ceiling
One fell on the poor beleagured hare
They dropped with a "ploop!"
Into barley acorn soup
"Hey, y'bally rotters! That's no fair!"
Churchmice giggled and screamed
They found the meadowcream!
And a pawful flew right through the air
A contest begun
Oh, it was such great fun!
Pelting cream like you just didn't care!
Hares versus otters
"Oh y'wallopin rotters!"
Were hurling chestnuts with wild abandon
A hedghog refereed
Covered with cream and with seed
"Thee winner's da beast still lef' standin'!"
The battle raged on
It was nearly dawn
Mice were up to their noses in cake
A mole shuffled by
Submerged in deeper 'n' ever pie
When the entire kitchen started to quake
Dibbuns looked around
Soup dripping was the only sound
The quaking was coming quite near
They looked at the mess
Dirty shirt, messy dress
What to do? Mother Mellus was here!!!!
