Dalamar leaned forward and whispered something into the ear of his steed. He galloped after Glifinial, his long black hair streaming out behind him. His stallion's hooves pounded the ground, beating out a tune that Dalamar's heart seemed to match as he felt a burst of excitement at the thrill of riding. Then, his heart turned to other matters. He caught up with Glifinial, and he realized what that strange new feeling was:love. He almost wept for joy, as they pounded across the landscape together. It was the happiest he had ever felt.
