Reincarnation, what a karmic kicker! So I was a little self-involved and treated women badly, I repented on my deathbed! Crap, now I'm stuck as some early 21st century girl in America. When will I ever escape samsara! Argh!>>>
Okay, Circe checking back in, and I must apologize for that little delving back into one of my past lives. He's still a little touchy. Well, I'm still confused by the tenets of reincarnation. Dharma, Karma, Samsara. I've read some of the Hindu texts but have never really delved into the Buddhist beliefs (except I know that the Dalai Lama is the reincarnation of the Buddha of compassion, has already attained Nirvana, but wills himself to stay on the wheel of life). Okay, was checking around the web and found this site:
http://hinduism.about.com/religion/hinduism
If the link doesn't work, try going to ww.about.com, and typing in reincarnation as your topic. I then picked Hindu reincarnation.
Honestly, I would love to hear from someone who has studied the subject more closely. Enlighten me, please!
