Once again you have failed to address the real issues, and you try to change the subject to a discussion of my beliefs and interests.

My beliefs and interests are of no relevance, but since you keep asking I will respond.

I am interested in aspects of spirituality including what Yogananda referred to as the "second coming of Christ" and what others may refer to as "The Christ Child". However if there are aspects which I am unsure of I have much better sources of information that someone like Norman Paulsen whom I regard as someone who is a complete fake, and seriously deluded as to his own greatness.

For the purposes of this thread I am interested in what Norman Paulsen wrote in his book Sunburst and what he believed at that time. Not what he believes now. Not what you believe. Not what I believe, but what Paulsen wrote.

Is that clear enough for you?

I will repeat again. Norman Paulsen writes in his book Sunburst of a human child born around the New Year 1960/1961. I have already given several quotations from the book which show this. I will repeat them below.

You claim that Paulsen actually means something else, so once again, in the interests of fairness I invite you to show where Paulsen explains that this is not a human birth.





It is 1952 and Paulsen is having one of his "revelations" (i.e. fantasies) about his alien friends.

Yes, the next generation would contain the beginnings of an invasion by the Forces of Light. The return of The Builders was now in progress. Jesus, an elder brother of this divine force, would fulfill his promised return.


It is New Year’s Eve 1960 and in one of his rare sober moments Paulsen is listening to some celestial music being broadcast from a spaceship. No-one else can hear the music which goes like this:

”Christ, our Saviour, Christ, our Saviour, Christ, our Saviour,
Is born today.
Out in Judea, out west in Bethlehem, Christ, our Saviour,
Is born today.
Don’t be rude to Him: don’t be cruel to Him; don’t forsake him,
Christ, our Lord
Christ, our Saviour, Christ, our Saviour, Christ, our Saviour,
Is born today.”

As I listened, I realized the brothers and sisters from the outer spaces I had previously had contact with throughout my present lifetime were now involved with some incredible divine revelations, and I was somehow included. That night passed quickly and the brightness of dawn came streaming through the window. Still the chorus of voices had not diminished. Looking out on Santa Barbara, I could see the great rainbow shafts of astral light shining down from the Heavens, penetrating the rooftops of all the buildings. People walking down the street were bathed in The Light. Somewhere on this Earth today, the Saviour had been born, I felt, but where?




Later Paulsen undergoes an initiation ceremony that includes the rather unpleasant sounding circumcision by fire. After the ceremony…

Driving along, I tried to put the events of the last few days in some kind of order. Initially I had started to drive out to see my friend, Daniel. Was it really true that the Christ Child was reborn here on January 1st, 1961? The now familiar voice of the captain in command of the starship entered my private meditation.

“Paulsen, remember, we promised to return with the forces of Christ, the Son…..
We are here in force now to deliver the final ultimatum to Lucifer and Satan who have had possession of the Earth for over twelve thousand years.”



Later Paulsen is listening to “one of the Ancient Elders of the White Race” while he is taking a trip to Jupiter. Among other things the alien says:

”The promised return of the hu-man called Jesus, who received the Baptism of Fire and was anointed The Christ has begun, as you well know….”


There are plenty of other references but they are hard to find.
“Somewhere on this Earth today, the Saviour had been born, I felt.” I don’t think there is much room for doubt that this applies to a human baby, not to some mystical experience.
