sometimes it is not v gd to read the book before the movie cos u have certain high expectations n then usually there is this limit to how much the movies can convey the book. disappointment usually follows.

but i always get gd surprises to read a book after i have seen the movie....hmmm but only except for LOTR.

hahaha LOTR is a gd book. but to0 dragggggggggyyyyy. i only managed to read part one of book one. hahah pathetic rite? but tolkien is really damn loh sor. he can describe sceneries fantastically but not exactly so when it comes to action. hav to admit the book can be boring at times.... the movies are marvellous. how they managed to rebuild the cities or towns (jy said the shire n rohan were built esp for the films)

another book-movie tie in would b harry potter! i anticipate the movies to see how they are going to materialise all those magical events. how they use cg to reproduce all those monsters.

i read catch me if u can. book is better
beautiful mind: movie better. hahah the book is v detailed with all the various characters in tat protagonist's life. (sorry cant rem his name)

i watched the pianist n love it n i borrowed the book from library. except tat it is in chinese!!! hehehe challenging myself.. havent started the book though ;p

schindler's list should b from a book. the movie is said to b gd bbut havent watch it. any of u gers watch it yet?

mona lisa smile is also adapted from a book. n so many many others. i wanna watch tat too.
