i am a round head! i went to cut my hair with weihua at boon lay jean yip's. i wanted a jap style short style but instead i got a round head. i look like a boy! hahah

luckily got a bit of time before cny. not like i am doing any visiting but still wanna look gd for the new year

i did abit of shoppin with my ers money! hehee i love govt for this once. i got a nice white floral halter dress. a lavender wraparound skirt. all these in a bid to dress more femininely ;p i really really really want to add more bright colors to my wardrobe. i even got an orange n bright green racerback tops! it is so hard to shop for a gd dress. i went shopping with adeline. i tried on so many dresses. they were either too big or fitting at the wrong places or too long or aiyah there is always something wrong with somewhere. ade said it is v tiring to shop with me. haha

oh yah i am considering becoming a teacher. my all time safety net. the teaching award, should i get it, will sponsor my honours year (much needed) n i will get some meager allowance. the year in nie will b paid for like all other teachers to be. starting pay will b ard 2.7k for a 2nd lower honours. which i tink shld b attainable as long as i keep up my efforts this sem. the teachin award will solve all my short term financial problems cos i am guaranteed a job once i graduate n will sponsor my honours year. something i really need. although there is no monthly allowance in the honours year.

went to the recruitment talk. for havin only psychology as my teachin subject i will hav to teach at a primary sch for 3 years n then depending on my performance n interest, i can b posted back to hq n do educational psychology. tat is something tempting. not too sure if they will sponsor my further studies but i tink chances are they will.

3 years is not too bad n i dun tink i will hate the job tat much. kinda enjoy bein round the kids.

any advice? cozi is kind of all for it. the only thing i am worried abt is the post teaching career path. if suay suay i really dun want to continue my teachin stint, the alternative job prospects are not exactly tat bright. teaching is not really considered a substantial teaching experience. the other main attraction is really the monetary part n promise of a job without havin to spend time doing jobhunt.

my mum is like got money can liao lor. hahhaa but of cos she also said it depends on me.

the thing is tat i have to apply to become a teacher first n then if i am accepted n i will also have to agree to b a teacher, only then will they consider giving me the teachin award. so it is like askin me to jump into the industry before they will give me the award. not too sure if i can pull out if i found out tat i dun hav the teachin award. results of the award will only b announced in late july n i dunno if i hav to agree to do honours oreadi. cos i wont b doin hons if i dun hav any awards. no money lah.....

how how how? i guess no harm to try lor. wat is your take on this?
