yes jy, i sent u tat link. actually i din try anything from that site at all yet. hahha i forgot abt tat site. the url was in my old laptop.

anyway i spent 20 bucks in ntuc for my grocery shopping! well actually the ingredients not so ex cos i bought shaving blades for smooth legs. heheee

all the dishes i mentioned went well!! my mum loves them but she said i very slow in cookin. i started preparing at 6pm n only got dinner started at 8pm! hahaha but i took pain to slowly shred ginger n dice all the colorful yellow pepper, water chestnut, mushrooms, carrots. my dishes look so colorful.

except for one screw up: fried chicken wings. my dad bought some cos he knew i am comin back to cook so he went marketing too! hahaa so i marinated the chicken wings in soy sauce n onions. surprisingly nice leh. too bad, the pan i am using is not non-stick n totally spoilt the browned skin of the wings..... *sobsob*

suan mei with steamed fish sounds gd!! mayb will try next time round.

i got the name for the oyster mushroom wrong. cozi said it is abalone mushroom. i dunno. heheee but it is those fan like big big mushroom.

very proud of myself. even though my bro din give face to come back to eat. my dad was like 'yeah there r leftovers' he wans to keep them n then heat up for dinner tonite cos the porridge he cooks r tasteless!! he is totally hopeless when it comes to cooking. his idea of cookin is to throw everything into a pot of noodles or porridge with no condiments added!!! yeeeeewww....

i wanted to come back hall after dinner but then i started watchin tv. first, charmed on 5 then the mighty in-laws (with zoe tay: this is a damn funny show!! quite nice to see caldecott queen swearin n acting convincingly ah lian).
