Subject: You have caught me Pablo. My status as the board's resident Nashville expert can now be argued by one and all. I know exactly where the Loveless cafe is (way out in Bellevue on Highway 100) and it is truly a Nashville icon, frequented mostly by really old people who like pie. I, however, have never dined there, due in part to my hatred of that part of town and my fear of the elderly.
In reply to: Pablo 's message, "Skillet - have you ever been to the Loveless diner?" on 11:29:07 06/10/02 Mon

[> [> I went on a last second trip to Nashville this weekend (Before you say it - I don't have your email address - so I couldn't contact you) and went to the Loveless... I will say it was the greatest breakfast I have ever had. Also went to the Tin Roof - first time in Nashville and I loved it. I will be there a couple times this summer I believe so next time Skillet - Breakfast on me at the Loveless -- Pablo, 15:12:16 06/10/02 Mon

[> [> [> [> Skillet - I did not mean to delete your reply - sorry... There weren't too many old people - there was two dudes in full length overalls with tye-dye shirts that were a little sketchy (they were trying to freebase Gravy) it was good stuff though -- Pablo, 15:36:30 06/10/02 Mon

[> [> [> [> [> Pablo is now deleting posts. The world is coming to an end. One mention of a colostomy bag strangle hold and a post is gone. But the almighty Pablo can make fun of those of us who freebase gravy and wear tye-dies with overalls. It's a good look, Pablo, nothing sketchy about it. Ever been blown by a relative with no teeth? No? Well then, don't knock the tye-dyes and overalls or the freebased gravy because it is a very pleasurable event for which words cannot do justice. For that matter, while I'm thinking about women with no teeth, maybe I need to rethink my "fear" of the elderly. -- Homeskillet, 10:38:08 06/11/02 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> Here is the thing - I in no way intended to delete Skillet, I deleted NJNP - Skillet had replied to his post. When I undeleted - they both didn't show up. I once again apologize for my error - I have no problem with colostomy bag humor. -- Pablo, 11:03:07 06/11/02 Tue

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Just screwing around with you Pablo. I know mad deleters. You are no mad deleter. It's good to know that you don't mind colostomy bag humor, though. When I worked at a hospital, the grossest thing I ever heard was about a little old lady whose colostomy bag incision kept getting irritated. Her doting husband brought her in almost every week. The hospital kept giving her an ointment. It was later discovered that the doting husband was screwing the little old lady through her bag hole, using the ointment as lube. His name? Mike Tyson. -- Homeskillet, 11:47:36 06/11/02 Tue

[> [> [> I had forgotten that the Loveless is legendary for its breakfast, and you correctly observe that the skillet likes his breakfast at about 2 p.m. I tried to go to the Tin Roof once but I was drunk and got lost. I wound up at De Ja Vu and the rest is history. How many old people were at the Loveless, Pablo? Whiteheads freak me out. I'm afraid i'll piss one off and get strangled to death by a colostomy bag or beat senseless with one of those cains that has four little feat. -- Homeskillet, 15:29:29 06/10/02 Mon
