You've been thoroughly brainwashed. The leaders that Price was criticizing were no more "the church," than the Pope is. Louis XV could say, "I am the state," but neither W. Wallace Smith, nor Wallace B. Smith, could say "I am the church," and expect anyone to keep a straight face.

It was not until the leaders formed a new church named "The Community of Christ" out of the wreckage left over from the RLDS church that the leaders "became" the church.

Do me a favor, John. Find something critical that I wrote about the RLDS church, prior to its death and subsequent emergence from the lab, not as the "Bride of Christ," but as the "Bride of McMurray."

I never said anything bad about the RLDS Church, and I was defending McMurray's nonsense up until about two months before I resigned my membership.

What happened? McMurray did something astonishing for a liberalist. He told the truth in public, in a venue such that he could not later deny what he said. Up until that day, guys like you would just tell everyone that all that bad stuff was "just rumors."
