OOC: Yeah, it is a cool word, but my personal favorite is "Irk". ;-) NC, huh? Kewel. *sigh* Yes, she does have issues. She has a small self esteem problem, so I have to build her ego up to keep her from getting depressed, and then I can't stand her for a while ;-) She's my best friend, though. Ok, enough sentimentality, it's SHOW TIME!!!! *cackles* Pleasure-servant, eh? Don't tell Mara Jade. Her boss has a... shocking (heh) personality. Oooh, I'm so Morbid tonight... hee....)

Pulling sharply out of her meditation at his rough gesture, she nods, pulling her cloak around her, as a chilly night breeze blows up from the canyons. "As you wish..." she whispers, softly, backing away from him, carefully hiding her pain as he pushes her hand away.
Adam, please... please, don't push me away. I need you...
Her mind argues with her heart, They're all the same. Always pretending to love you. Don't let him hurt you. Leave now, while you can. He can't hurt you, unless you let him.
She turns to walk away from him, but suddenly stops. "Adam, get to cover!" she suddenly says, her once soft tone sharp and commanding. Suddenly, a blaster shot slams into one of the speeder-bikes, turning the engine to slag. Storm hisses something under her breath, pulling her own weapon from it's concealed holster, and scanning the boulders from which the shot came from.
Suddenly, a woman, older and taller than Storm, steps out of the shadows, carrying a lightsaber. The deep purple of the laser blade accents her scarlet hair, and gives her jadeite green eyes a weird highlight. "Mara... nice to see you still in one piece." Storm says, sounding surprisingly different then only an hour ago. The woman, Mara, smirks, "Hello, Darkmoon."
She motions with her free hand, and two Royal Guards carrying vibro-blades step forward, their blood-red armor looking almost black in the starlight.
"I thought it was going to be more difficult to get both you and your friend, but I see that for once I was wrong. How sweet. Your father will be pleased to learn of your romantic relationship."
Storm, trembling with barely controllable rage, glares, "You keep him out of this. This is between me, and you, not him." she snarls, her shoulders tensing. Mara laughs, a cold, humorless sound, "Wrong, dear. This very much includes your boyfriend. Palpatine has his own plans for both of you. Now, will you come willingly, or will your sweetheart need persuasion?" The guards take one step forward, flanking the woman.

OOC: Just an FYI: The Royal Guards were trained personally by Darth Vader. Not invincible, per se, but pretty darn close. Also, Storm needs to get captured, but if you don't want Adam to be, that's okeeday. Ooooh, too much candy for me!
