Subject: The search continues.. Author: Ryujin [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:06:40 01/15/02 Tue RX had been wandering aimlessly now for almost a week. Travelling from town to town to try and uncover some sort of information on Vile or Sigma. He stopped into a port town called Kalay, which was famous for its ship building and trade. This had made it a wealthy town. RX was wandering around when he saw what looked like 2 warrior class Reploids talking. This was not strange in itself as the town had inhabitants of all sorts from around the world. He glanced as if to assess their fighting ability, then continued to walk..until something caught his attention about what they were saying so he stopped and ducked in between 2 of the warehouses. R1: Hey, I'm sick of this damn town..no action at all! R2: Well, I've heard something that might interest you then..heh R1: huh? (he looked puzzled and intrigued) R2: Well, I hear that there is a scout going around this town looking for competant fighters to protect his fortress or something... R1: Really? who is it? R2: Not sure..some private owner..but his moneys as good as anyones R1: You did'nt catch his name? R2: I heard some guys talking..Dopp...something or other..I think he's a scientist or Dr...either way the way these guys were talking it seemed as if he was either very important or very rich..possibly both R1: Wait..you don't mean..Dr.Doppler do you? R2: Dr.who? never heard of him.... R1: Are you serious? R2: I'm not that well informed on high society guys..I'm more into fighting news..but anyway who cares who he is..this is the very interesting part... R1: I'm listening... R2: Well you've heard of Vile, the famous Maverick? R1: Everyone has..whats your point? R2: Well, rumour has it that he is actually at this fortress and he works for that Dr guy! R1: No way! R2: So I figure..if we go here..maybe we'll get a chance to meet him! or better yet fight him! R1: That would be cool! we'd be famous! R2: There is one catch though... R1: What is it? R2: Well his fortress is some Island...but you can get a special ferry over there with other warriors who wish to prove themselves in the arena..if they do they are chosen..if they don't..they are melted down into scrap metal! R1: whoa!..b-but we have nothing to fear...right? R2: Of course not, we are unbeatable! R1: Your right! lets go sign up now! R2: Now your talking!, c'mon the transport is over there... And at that the 2 headed towards the transport vessel. RX had now finnaly gotten the lead he had been looking for, an almost evil grin came to his face... RX: Vile...heh..this almost seems to easy..but I might be recognized from my hunter days..even though I only did Black ops missions...I'll need to find a disguise and alais...soon Vile...soon...
