that CSM knew about the wire but it didn't matter to him because that didn't affect his game. Scully *should* have been more creeped out. And she didn't undress herself because didn't she ask him and he said she was asleep and he brought her in there? Eww.

I liked this episode and I do think Scully can be foolish sometimes. I think Mulder was appropriately ticked because at this stage in their partnership she shouldn't have kept this from him. Plus it was dumb of her to go off with someone like the CSM and not tell anyone. Even if she just left a message with her mom she should have let someone know what she was doing.
Maybe Mulder was also hurt because Scully trusted the CSM but she still has trouble believing Mulder all the time.

I loved the part with the Gunmen. Especially Byers in his punk hairdo. :-) I think WBD is a huge fan of the show and he also knows its history and seems to be paying closer attention than a certain surfer I could name.
