Yes, I will certainly be putting this in my faves list for this season, too, for the reasons Det said. It is so nice to have episodes where we get both M&S and where they are sharing many scenes too. These are the good eps (Detour, Quagmire etc...!)

Yes, M&S could have been extra happy because of the Millennium kiss. It makes sense. You would, I'm sure, feel at least warm inside to have gone past the usual boundaries. If it was DD and GA's own plan, then I think it worked. I am a bit worried now Det has said that about saying goodbye to cheery Mulder and Scully. Oh no! :-(

Re the baseball reference - I didn't mind this at all. It was a nice nod to Mulder's influence. She didn't care about or like baseball previously and was it me, or did she look a little wistful as she said "I like baseball too"? Perhaps I'm reading too much into it.

Scully saying that Henry got lucky was not really seriously meant, though, by her as a permanent answer to the question. I think she said that in a throwaway manner at the time and she wasn't expressing it as a 'technique' Henry had. It was just ironic that it turned out to be just luck that was behind it all. Mulder being Mulder, he does admit he is wrong usually and he was also the one prepared to take his theory to its natural conclusion.

I loved all the jokes and I liked Mulder wet, too!
