I agree with you det, Scully should have had the credit for sussing out Henry's apparent invincibility. Mulder thought he'd found another Leonard Betts. As soon as we knew that Henry's 'good' fortune was down to luck, I found myself thinking 'well Scully said that in the first place'. Of course by the end of the ep, Mulder had embellished it so much that it sounded like a fresh theory.
As for the baseball remark, I thought that was a little bit clunky. It struck me as being too much of an explicit reference to a previous ep. It was nice that the sheer fun of knocking a few balls about with Mulder in 'TU' had made a lasting impression, but I still felt like CC was just tossing me a bone. Seeing M & S at a 'ball-game'(is that the right expression?) would have been much more satisfying & would have convinced me that she truly had taken to baseball.
