I like that idea and I think they have been leading up to all things with dates and kisses and maybe some talking about what a new relationship would mean for both of them regarding their jobs etc. Actually now I think about it, Mulder's decision to make Scully stop investigating the X Files in Req sounded like they had already discussed this sort of thing before. And her asking Billy if the Deputy was married...... I think they have talked about the consequenses of their expanding relationship. Then Scully saw no more reason to prolong it after the happenings in all things. I wonder did she hear Mulder say that "that says alot alot alot" line before true sleep overtook her?

I also think that she left early so that they could keep their secret and she probably had to get ready for work. Also I think that they may have talked about her leaving early after they had their passionate encounter. Surely they didn't just do it and fall asleep without saying something. I mean , these two who thrive on talking to eachother....unless of course the talking used to take the place of the sex and now they have the sex they don't need to talk. :-)

Me thinks we will never know and that CC does a great job at catering for the beliefs of everybody. I mean, we have a pregnant woman and a man she loves and has made love to but it is still possible for the Noromos to think that absolutely nothing has happened between them. We don't REALLY know anything for sure about the X Files and that is what I love about it.
