Subject: The CSM's neck hole
In reply to: Sybilia 's message, "Interesting point, bizarre situation" on 18:24:47 05/23/00 Tue

When I was little I met a relative or maybe it was a family firnd who hd hd tht done. As I recall I was told it was a result of smoking. Thi old man talked through a hole in his neck. And I can tell you that it sounded a lot more strange and distorted than how CSM talked in this. It was a frightning chldhood memory I'v never forgotten.

I don't think that and his other medical conditions have to be connected. I just think he's deteriorating in many ways and the smoking finally caught up with him too.

I was confused in En Ami as to why CSM threw the disc in the water unless there was no cancer cure on the disc and it was just part of his plan to lure Scully which is what I'm thinking now. I think the CSM was still dying from the cerebral inflammation and his throat condition was just an added thing. Even if he was dying of cancer I don't think he could be cured the same way Scully could. I think the chip implants were only affective on the abductees who went through a particular kind of testing. The testing caused the cancer in them and they had the technology to cure that but I don't think they could be used to cure cancer that a non abductee had.
