Not to be confused with The Scully's *Stockings* Club, an obscure group obsessed with Scully's hoisery. The former is for obsession in general. Members of the Stalking Club must change residence to get closer and closer to one Dana Scully. Members of the latter conduct research on "The Pantyhose Defense."

Hi, det! I'm really glad you brought up that the ep felt kind of more like GA than Scully. GA even said herself in the AOL chat transcript that she used the writing oportunity to forward some of her own ideas. It's not that they aren't worthy ideas-- it's that their GA's passions, not Scully's.

I don't think Colleen was supposed to be Emily or Melissa. It seemed pretty obvious, in a beat-you-over-the-head-with-it sort of way, that Scully was supposed to see herself in Colleen.

I agree with the way you addressed the whole "education" making DD a better writer thing. As you said, it's the experience writing that makes the difference and there was a higher expectation for DD. Also, DD has earned a higher salary from pretty early on because of his contributions to the mytharc. He's more involved with the direction of the show than GA.

I wonder where Mulder got his Buddha. At that alternative therapy store in Theef? I hope he picked up a vooodoo doll too.

I don't think that this ep was any better than the others we've seen lately. In fact, I thought this felt kind of like a fanfic. It would have been a great fanfic, but as an X-file it fell a little short.

hairytoes, who agrees that this wasn't NEARLY as bad as Closure, heh-heh
