...who needs husbands? The sheriff-husband was a total slimeball, but so was...I just forgot her name. The first one to get killed. The other woman was too, but we knew that since she was obviously just trailer park trash. <=note that I say that with extreme sarcasm

What *was* the deal with that woman (Debbie?) being unable to put on a robe over her red lacy bra? Geez. It took so long that I was thinking, "All right - we get it. Nice knockers, toots. Let's move the plot along now, shall we?"

I wanted Mulder to ask the sheriff who else in town he was sleeping around with, or maybe who he *wasn't* boinking. No reason to think he limited himself to just the two. He look awfully well rested for someone who (a) had a baby and (2) got some action every night.

Not bad for a Scully-lite ep. Being the big Scully fan that I am, I wasn't sure I would like this one but it kept my interest. Still, was it just me or did Mulder seem somewhat embarrassed to express his thoughts on the case? He got over it, but when he first started on the case he didn't seem comfortable sharing his theories with the sheriff.

I cracked up over the phone call where Scully was describing what was going on and that she just wanted him to know that she was thinking about him. I'm not a shipper, but wasn't it cute that Scully kept calling Mulder for no reason other than to talk? She didn't need to keep him abreast of the case - she just wanted to talk to him. Awwww.

krh, still not a shipper!
