"What?! You're making that up!" Kande sputters, thinking of all the fines she's had to pay in the last year.

"Am not!" retorts the Mayor indignantly. "A roundup of this magnitude will require a great deal of money."

"Really? I had no idea," CW interjects politely. "What are you proposing we do?"

"First we need to draw IG in," muses the Mayor. "I was thinking along the lines of a 'Dirty Dancing' sequel."

"Aggghhh! Noooooo!" Kande screeches, holding her ears.

"Hmm. Interesting idea," Det says diplomatically. "What do you think, KS? You're well-versed in running people down."

KS breaks off from her heated argument with Doggett. "Huh? Whatever you think." She waves her hand dismissively, then turns back and goes nose-to-nose with JD. "...And if you think for one minute I'm going to allow you to bring in that deer head from the garage..."

"For those people who didn't see the actual shape-shifting IG's, I think we'll have a hard time making Shippervillians realize the danger they're in from such an innocent-appearing person," CW stands up to make the longest speech she's made since beginning her knitting needle guzzling.

"Good point, CW," states the Mayor, starting to pace in front of the small group. "We'll have to start a propaganda campaign to make the public at large recognize our new Public Enemy No. 1. If only we had a local newspaper reporter talented enough to write such articles..."

"Me! Me! Me!" Kande hops up and down on one foot while waving her hand wildly in the air, not realizing she's just been suckered by the oldest trick in the book.
