Sorry I haven't replied sooner.I hate it when people ask a question and someone takes the time to answer and then the person never replies and now I'm doing it! I's just a lot to take in and I needed the right time to focus on it. Like I'm focused now?! :-p

Anway I did think this involved the Tunguska tests since K Man mentioned that vaguely. Hey what about Krycek? He was infected too or did it all drain out of him when he was in that silo?

What I was thinking was that the alien in Mulder wasn't really alien but just the black oil virus and somehow that combined with the rubbing casued Mulder's abilities. I can't quite equate that with Gibon though. Have we leanred how he got that way? I don't think he was ever abducted. It seems like Gibson was born with it.

I didn't think Jeremiah was a hybrid either. I thought he was all alien. I compare him to Josh Exely. There must be a faction of nice aliens who don't want their world to destroy earth.

I don't get what's with CSM either. If Mulder was affected so badly what's to keep CSM from becoming very ill. The only thing I can think is that he has access to the drugs to control it, like he gave Mulder, but he has more and knows how to administer them.
Yes it would be something if CSM could shape shift! Oh I hope not! I don't know if he can read minds. That might be a problem!

So what's with Cassandra? I red a post somewhere from someone who reminded me what the CSM said to the Bounty Hunter back in Herrenvolk, "We all know how important Mulder is to the equation." That always struck me as being very significant though yet to be explained. Did they know then that Mulder had something in him that would make him a hybrid? Or was what happened to him only caused by the black oil (which was after Herrenvolk.) So was Mulder just a lucky accident? Otherwise why did they waste time on testing Cassandra and others looking for a hybrid with Mulder right there? I'm guessing they didn't know. So what was so important about him?

See, we have this all sorted out now! NOT! ;-)
