entirely too trusting!! I've only seen about five eps with him in them and I've managed to catch both one in which he put Scully's life in danger and one in which he put Mulder's life in danger, both times because he just accepted without question what someone else had told him.
I've changed my stance on Dogsbreath a *little* bit since the beginning of the season. I no longer hate him and think he's evil, but I *do* think he's clueless and easily manipulated!
These personality characteristics *might* make sense if the character was supposed to be just out of the F.B.I. Academy and was played by an actor in his 20s (like Jeff Spender was). But isn't Dog supposed to be an ex-Marine and an ex-New York City cop?? And I've no idea how old he's supposed to be or how old RP is in real life, but he definitely looks like a middle-aged man; certainly older, by several years, than Mulder/DD. How could anybody reach that age, and have been in law enforcement for a number of years, and still be as naive as he so obviously is??
