For some reason � and I know this is weird � I almost never watch comedies when they're actually airing in prime time. The last prime time sitcom I watched on a semi-regular basis was probably "Head of the Class" back in the 1980s.

But several of the local TV stations around here air sitcom reruns about 11 p.m. and sometimes I'll watch those; especially in the summer when my kids don't have school and are staying up later.

I watched "Cheers", which originally aired during the 1980s, during the 1990s; and in the last few years I've watched stuff like "Friends" and "Dharma and Greg" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" that were big hits during the 1990s.

So. . .I'll probably start watching the shows you mention above in about 2018 or thereabouts!!
