I actually hadn't realized "Chase" was set in Texas 'til after it begin airing. We don't watch it because it airs at the same time as "Castle" which is one of our few "must see" TV shows.

We did watch one ep (I think it was a repeat of the Pilot) that came on at a different time and day. It was okay; as you said, not great, but not bad.

To the best of my knowledge, Houstonians have nothing in particular against Neil Diamond in general or "Sweet Caroline" in particular. However, maybe I'm missing something, too.
