Can't say I watch Sci-Fi anymore.

First, that name change is lame.

Second, those made for TV films are the worst dreck made today.

I also hate that all stations regardless of their original mandate make reality shows (History, A & E, etc.). How can we have "reality" on a channel all about fantasy? And when I see a Ghost Hunters ep, they make it seem way more scary than it is. Without the music and infra red, it would just be some person standing around an empty building saying they thought they heard something & then nothing happens.

I'm catching up on the new Galatica which I think is great. Might check out Farscape too (thank you Netflix for allowing me to catch up at my leisure). The newer shows don't impress me with their previews. Seems like more variations on X-Files and Buffy.

I think the BBC is doing the best sci-fi right now. The new Dr, Who, the spin offs Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures. Primeval, Hex, remake of Survivors, Jekyll, etc. They are low budget but don't look it the way a SyFy show does.
