Sorry for taking so long.

I liked it. I thought the mom was a pretentious snob, that's why she was speaking French. That and she didn't want the reporters to understand what she was saying. First to shush the daughter for talking about the bodyguard, then to tell the son that he shouldn't talk on his cell phone like a gangster. But since both kids clearly understood her, I think it's not an uncommon occurance.

As far as the actual kidnapping, I thought it was a little predictable as far as the kidnappers outsmarting the FBI agents, since the shaggy freelance guy is clearly the genius of the bunch.

I'm not sure what to think of how the mom snapped back at the FBI agents. It could be that she's just under a lot of stress (obviously), but I think more likely she has some secrets. I think both she and the dad have some secrets that will come out over this.
