Okay, I didn't know that Jin was supposed to have fertility problems. But we had similar discussions about Scully's "I don't know how it happened" statement in regard to her pregnancy on XF. All I have to say is. . .I have personally known SEVERAL couples who were supposed to be "unable" to have children and who eventually conceived.
Doctors don't always know as much they think they do and some conditions (especially low sperm count which is, I would assume, what the problem was for Jin as it's by far the most common infertility problem for men) are sometimes self-limiting. I would even think that a "natural" life on the island -- lots of exercise, all-natural foods, no exposure to chemicals, etc. -- could help cure some fertility problems.
Also, if Sun had gotten pregnant by some other man before they crashed on the island wouldn't she have had the baby by now?? Or -- since "island time" seems to run slower than "real time" -- at least be *really* far along in her pregnancy by now, not just informing her husband?
