On this point I'll have to concede Killswitch is completely correct; nightlife in our fair old city is tedium incarnate. You say you can go out six nights a week - maybe that's true, but in general it would have to be the same place every single week unless you're some sort of uber fan of every musical genre. God. I accept what you're saying about it not being such a bad palce (sort of), but for a city of such supposed national importance (and it is, you know..), you'd expect more.

Maybe in 10 years it will have improved - then again, I doubt I'll have the patience to stay around here for that long!
