Author: Quilth and T'bel
Subject: I can show you the world...!
In reply to: F'rell, Jariath 's message, "Oh, I will! You can count on that!" on 19:14:22 02/25/05 Fri

The human portion of the draconic-rider pair falters as the Queen shoots straight up, disappearing into the mists of the cloud cover. T'bel's instinct sends his mind reeling to his lifemate, emotions screaming wordlessly that they should immediately give chase, for the horde that has gained upon them is too strong in bulk and too great in number and will advance beyond them. Jariath's aerial plunge into the clouds seems to serve proof to a panicked statement.

Quilth's response is a deafening roar of challenge to both the dragons about him and the lifemate who was seeming to lose faith. On the ground, T'bel's form stiffens as his generally pacifistic lifemate mirrors the physical sound with a action in their personal bond, shoving fears aside with nothing less then willpower and strength of spirit. Green-grey eyes widen only briefly at this surprising change of attitude before hardening into a determined glare. The ocular fog of acceptance grows thicker, though T'bel's gaze loses none of its glint of spiritual steel.

The bronze's mind has no room for concern over for Jariath's ascent, caring only for the shining Golden star who rises in glory throughout her azure domain. His faceted eyes lift up to the cloud, and then to the gaping hole where the Queen had so deftly maneuvered her sunkissed form. The bronze's eyes, still swirling golden in the reds of lust and yellows of concern for the ever present possibility of harm to the glorious Shrineth, watch this hole intently. It takes only a second for him to notice that the wispy condensation on the left side of the empty space is pulled to the right by some motion up above. A glimmer of incredible joy flashes across Quilth's gaze just
before he twists his body upwards and to the right, wings expanding upon the warmth of an uplifting thermal. He then pulls them towards the ground into the first of many fierce strokes, each swift pump of toned muscles firing his form into an insanely quick 45 degree angle up, away from the rest of the pack.

Quilth pulls his wings tightly into his sides as he enters into the cloud bank, a bronze arrow that emerges barely before the Queen, shining from the collected dew. His wings unfurl right as his tail tip pulls free from the clouds, slowing his ascent to an appearance of almost floating amidst the misty sky. The bronze then whirls around to face the oncoming beauty, gentle motion of wing tips inviting the pliant upper layer of haze to spiral up around his sides as she comes closer to his lithe form.

His mouth opens swiftly, for soon he knows she will dodge and he will again be providing his all to ever follow her nimble motion. But, while he has the chance, Quilth sings to her once again, his smooth baritone rumble vibrating deep within his chest. It then rises upwards into an alluring tenor trumpet, both desire and need sending the resounding song echoing straight to Shrineth, asking her to listen to his soul's respect and love of her sheer... existence.
